What we do
Our research group has broad interests in ecology, microbiology, biodiversity, and machine learning. Our work involves understanding the intricate relationships within ecosystems, exploring microbial diversity, and applying advanced computational techniques to model and conserve biodiversity.

Our current research focuses are:
1. investigating ecological interactions and dynamics within diverse ecosystems;
2. exploring microbial diversity and their potential applications in bioprospecting;
3. employing machine learning to model ecological patterns and predict biodiversity changes under various environmental scenarios.

We are based at the University of Santo Tomas, a leading research institution dedicated to advancing knowledge in ecology and microbiology. Our principal investigator, Dr. Nikki Heherson A. Dagamac, is a renowned expert in these fields and collaborates extensively with other institutions to further our understanding and conservation of biodiversity.
